Armor, Equipment & Shields
Armor
Armor is divided into three categories, each with its own base attributes. To equip a specific type, players must first unlock the corresponding skill.
Light Armor +2 (AP) when equipped Requires the Light Armor Specialization Skill |
Medium Armor +1 (AP), +5 (HP) when equipped Requires the Medium Armor Specialization Skill |
Heavy Armor +10 (HP) when equipped Requires the Heavy Armor Specialization Skill |
Armor Upgrades
Each armor piece comes with a set number of armor upgrade slots. Rare armor typically offers more slots, with a maximum of 4 slots per armor piece. Armor upgrades, which can be discovered throughout the world, can only be applied at an Armor Workbench. However, to equip these upgrades, players must first unlock the relevant Armorer Skill.
Equipment
Equipment refers to the gear that players can wear, equip, and use, including weapons, armor, helmets, and boots. When equipped, these items grant characters specific buffs or perks, enhancing their abilities and performance.
Equipment Slots
Players have 10 equipment slots which are displayed on the character sheet. To utilize any piece of equipment, it must first be equipt to its appropriate equipment slot. Each slot can hold only one item at a time, which is then worn or used by your character.

Mana Shields
Mana shields are a unique piece of equipment that players can find and equip. Each mana shield has a specific capacity, indicating the amount of damage it can absorb before the shield is depleted. When a mana shield is equipt, it absorbs incoming damage, reducing the shield's capacity before any damage affects the character's (HP). Once the shield's capacity reaches 0, any remaining damage is directly applied to (HP).
Players can recharge their mana shields by expending mana points, with each (MP) restoring +1 shield capacity. Recharging a mana shield requires 3 action points and can only be performed on the player's turn. Mana shields also recharge upon a long rest.
