====== Pixies ====== Pixies are rare and mysterious creatures in the world of Arcanex, appearing as small, circular orbs of glowing light with delicate wings that flutter gently. These luminous beings have no distinct form beyond their glowing orb bodies and wings made of energy. Known for their extreme rarity, finding and capturing a Pixie is a substantial feat, as they are elusive and can vanish like a dimming light when startled. Pixies are always found alone and their appearance is completely random, occurring anywhere in the galaxy, from planetary atmospheres to the depths of space. Catching a Pixie requires immense patience and a slow, deliberate approach, often described as "gaining its trust." Upon touching a wild Pixie, a unique bond forms, granting the Pixie a voice and consciousness. This transformation changes the Pixie from a brainless, floating entity into a small, agile, and intelligent companion. Newly bonded Pixies show strong allegiance to their new masters and possess soft, melodious personalities, usually devoid of strong emotions. They have no memory of their existence prior to bonding, as if they were just birthed with full consciousness. Pixies possess a unique ability to express photographic memory and are composed of pure magical energies, allowing them to perform advanced calculations and tasks with minimal effort once taught. They can master a language within minutes and are often obedient, refraining from forming opinions. In the Arcanex galaxy, Pixies are highly sought after due to their capability to integrate with magical technology systems and chart maps across the galaxy. This makes them vital instruments for major factions, who use them for computing and processing tasks. However, Pixies are extremely rare and grow rarer each year, making their discovery nearly impossible nowadays. Only a small handful are known to exist, typically in the hands of large factions and organizations utilizing their unique abilities. Pixies do not require food or water and do not have lifespans. Pixies, although immortal, are incredibly fragile and can be killed or destroyed easily.
